DESCRIPTION: Authorized for use and issued by the U.S. Army (APEL) One of the only goggles authorized by the U.S. Army for use over prescription eyewear, the ESS Land Ops™ is a high-performance goggle system for highly-active ground troops. The Land Ops™ features exceptional fog resistance, particle filtration, and comfort. With its roomy frame, the Land Ops™ is designed to fit over most eyeglasses. The Land Ops™ features a full-perimeter Hi-Flow™ ventilation and filtration system that ventilates humid air while filtering out airborne particles, air blasts and splashes. The open-cell face padding provides superior, long-lasting comfort: Safety Standards: This Land Ops™ goggle is compliant with U.S. MIL SPEC MIL-PRF-32432, ANSI Z87.1-2010, CE EN 166 and U.S. Federal OSHA. All Striker™ Series lenses provide 100% UVA/UVB protection and distortion-free optical clarity. Important APEL Note: Only Clear & Smoke Gray lenses are authorized for use in the U.S. Military. The APEL-Approved Land Ops™ is available in the following Unit-Issue configuration: The Land Ops™ APEL Unit Issue Kit features one Land Ops™ frame Tan 499 with two lenses (Clear and Smoke Gray), Anti-Reflective Speedsleeve, anti-fog solution and a soft storage case.
